Guidelines for Free Paper Submission

We are excited to announce the Call for Abstracts for Haircon 2025, the premier scientific meeting focused on hair restoration and hair transplantation. We invite Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetic Specialist Doctors also Resident, and General Practitioners with an interest in hair restoration and hair transplantation to submit their abstracts. Case reports, clinical or investigative studies primarily addressing hair restoration and hair transplantation will be given priority for selection. Nonetheless, submissions featuring other dermatologic cases of academic or clinical significance are also encouraged.

All submitted abstracts will undergo a review process and may be selected for e-poster, or may be declined based on the reviewers evaluation. The final decision regarding presentation format will be announced on our website in 31th August 2025.

Eligibility and Submission Guidelines for Abstracts – Haircon 2025

Abstracts may include research or case reports in the field of hair restoration, hair transplantation or dermatologic cases that have not been previously presented at any national or international scientific meeting.
- All submissions must be based on scientific and/or clinical methods that adhere to ethical and valid research standards.
- Trade names (drugs and/or equipment) should not be included in the title. If a trade name is mentioned in the abstract, it must follow the generic name in this format: generic name (trade name).
- All referenced medicines or substances must be referred to by their scientific name.
- The decision regarding e-poster format is at the sole discretion of the committee and is final.
- Only registered participants of Haircon 2025 are eligible to submit an Abstract.
- Submission of the Abstract and completed publication willingness form must be done through the official website 15th July 2025, at 23:59 WIB.
- Notifications regarding accepted submissions (e-poster) will be announced on the website in 31st August 2025.
- Revisions are not allowed once an Abstract has been submitted.
- Each participant may submit a maximum of one (1) Abstract as the main author, for one (1) e-poster

Guidelines for Abstract Submission – Haircon 2025

Instructions for abstract preparation (Abstract template reference provided)
1. Abstracts must be 1 page, written and presented in English. Abstracts that are not written in comprehensible English will be rejected and/or returned to the author(s) for revision.
2. Abstract must be uploaded in WORD format (.doc; .docx)
3. Title, author’s names, author’s affiliation, presenting author:
- Title: Use a concise descriptive title that indicates the content of the abstract. Please minimize the use of abbreviations in the title. Commercial trade names for drugs, devices, products, and services may not be used in the title.
- Author: The initial letter of the first name(s) and the full surname for each author must be provided. Do not include degrees or titles.
- Affiliations: Each author should be listed by department, institution, city, and country.

4. The body of the abstract text should not exceed 300 words. The online submission program will not allow submissions that do not fit this requirement. Symbols including superscripts and subscripts can be entered in the online system.
5. The body of the abstract must be formatted with the following sub-headings as appropriate. Each sub-heading should be formatted in bold text, begin on a new line, and followed by a colon and space (:). The text for each sub-section should begin immediately after the colon and space (see sample abstract below).

It is not acceptable to state that “The results will be discussed.” Only common and standard abbreviations may be used without definition, no references, tables, or charts are allowed.

Check spelling and grammar carefully. Direct reproduction from your electronically submitted abstract text means that any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific data will be reproduced as submitted.
Drugs, devices, products, and services should be identified by generic name only. The use of commercial drug names, brands and registered trademarks are prohibited. No mention of pharmaceutical company names should be included in the abstract. Data must be given in units (International metric system is preferred) that are generally accepted in scientific publications.
All co-authors must agree with the submitted results and conclusions, and consent to being listed as authors. Work involving humans or animals, or material derived from them must have been approved by an institutional ethics committee.
All submitted abstracts will undergo a review process and may be selected for e-poster, or declined based on the reviewers evaluation. The final decision will be announced on the website in 31st August 2025 and will be displayed next to the submitted abstract file.
